Rachel, Jasmine & Elle Sneak Preview

My second session today started about 20 minutes after my Maternity session ended so when the girls arrived I was still bouncing of the walls. Again, we had great fun- Jasmine was a gorgeous little girl who posed like a complete pro, Elle a bit shy to start with (no reason to - she's beautiful!) but then really came into her own, and Rachel a lovely lady who obviously loves her girls very much. I normally wouldn't do such a large sneak preview but the pictures are such fun, I had to share! Thanks to all 3 of you - I had a great time shooting you ( well you know what I mean)!

Better Together

Today I had a grown up family session, a bit of a change to the little ones. The shoot took place to celebrate a very special birthday, and the family getting together. Thankfully everyone was great, and I managed ok without playing peek-a-boo, and for a whole hour I didn't sing any nursery rhymes! Coral & Leo, it was a pleasure - you make a lovely family. I hope you like the pictures - here are a few of my favorites.

This Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting David ,Natalie, Jessica, Chloe, Annabelle, Ollie & bump!

Poppy fields & my little girl...gorgeous combination

I really wanted to share this with you. I took these yesterday afternoon, and am sooo pleased at how they turned out. Yes this is Izzy again, bless her! As much as she loves having her picture taken i don't think she was really in the mood yesterday. BUT, I knew that the poppies are dying and I know of only one field in the area and just HAD to go there - I missed them completely last year! Wayne finally gave in and we drove there yesterday afternoon after walking the dog so I could take a few shots.
It all must have looked a bit suspicious and we got a few strange looks , I am sure we were trespassing! To cut a long story short I only had one position to photograph Iz from and she is sitting on a blanket balanced on the edge of a field. There was a bit of dip so there wasn't really away to go onto the field. I really wanted some pictures where she was very little in a big field of poppies, but didn't quite get that...but hey I was happy with those! Feel free to comment!

Photographing teenagers...

Ok, so I am officially soooo tired today! Had a bit of a marathon session with the lovely Katrina & Phoebe, aged 16 & 13 respectively. We shot in the studio, followed by 2 locations,and it total it took just over 5 hours! All day shoots (max 6 hours) are available by special appointment only, so if you have something similar in mind please get in touch by email at maria@mariamurray.co.uk with details of your enquiry.

Ok back to the girlies - here are some of my favourites from the shoot. Both Katrina & Phoebe were fantastic to work with. But I think even they were worn out at the end... Girls ( and mum & dad of course!) - I hope you like these, I think you both look just gorgeous!
